James Keeley Tries to Break Jeff Smith’s Bank.
James H. Keeley struck the city direct from Salt Lake City last night. He carried a roll of greenbacks and several certified checks and with these tried to break Jeff Smith’s bank with the usual result. He applied to the police board, got his checks back, and now vows that smith is the finest gentleman in the city and Jeff doesn’t dispute it.
