Wyatt Earp's mine video

I came back from the southern California desert Sunday, very tired and worn out. I will have more photographs and the story of camping and mining at Wyatt Earp's Lucky Day mine in Vidal, California soon. In the mean time here is a video Phil Gessert (owner of the mineral rights) took while we were there. I was over in Vidal touring the Wyatt Earp house at the time this was shot, not that my injured back would allow me to get down there anyhow, lol. Enjoy!

  2. Hi Jeff! Yea, I actually have emailed you a while ago, probably about a year ago, because I live and work in Skagway during the summers! I unfortunately have had a hectic time this year so I haven't been too able to focus a lot of time on Soapy Smith but he is very intriguing to me. Anyways, I would love to learn more from you and hear about the progress of your book! Thanks!

  4. Hi Jeff, Just found your blog. I was at the Lucky Day mine 2/21/10 and took several pictures. I sent the pictures out in an e-mail to friends and included your URL to verify the location.
After seeing the mine, we went to Vidal to Wyatt's house for more pictures. Enjoyed your video of the mine. Blair Harrington, Lake Havasu City, AZ.
